But that's not really happening with the side being picked. As you mention we need to ditch putting an outside back on the bench. Martin goes back to second row and fights it out with mcdonnell / Bentley / Gannon we need to bring in an outside back but tindall comes in for now

I dunno the balance isn’t quite right yet is it?

I think the main reason we’re struggling is the spine. The pack could be improved but we are miles better than we have been for years up front. Читать дальше...

Slightly O/T but for those travelling to the games against France tomorrow, where is the best place to park these days around the HJ?

We used to use the back of Matalan before cameras were installed circa 2016.

I wasn't implying that you were racist, far from it!
I meant that saying a player wouldn't walk into every other side so we should re-sign them would be unreasonable if applied to every player in the team but I could just about understand if applied to the limited commodity of overseas players.

I see your point and obviousley with a quota spot used they becomes more expectation or preassure if you like considering the premium of them. However no more... Читать дальше...

Agree - think it would be a risk playing Hampshire after only one reserves game given the seriousness of his injury. Better to give him one or two lesser games (maybe even a short loan stint somewhere?). He can hardly be anywhere near match fit, be surprised if he even makes the bench. more likely Thornley on the bench I suspect.

Yes, a reserve fixture will count against his ban, as long as there is no first team match on the same weekend, which on this occasion there is no 1st team fixture owing to tomorrow`s International game.

This week's offering

https://open.spotify.com/episode/5TGEDC ... j-T1v3WkYw

Also, next week there should be a Guest or two on the show
Don't want to promise as the Interview hasn't been done yet but if all goes to plan there should be a 40/45 min slot in lieu of reviews of the normal SL games as its an international weekend.
Once I know the interview has been done and I know it will be on next week's podcast I will update the thread.

Wakefield Trinity • House of Ĺeague Carter/ swap deal interview

The board are the ones tasked with raising the necessary monies to fund a competitive team. They are then the ones who employ a coaching set up which should be capable of improving players and getting the absolute best out of that team. And those coaching appointments have to then achieve the desired outcomes by getting the players to perform to standard, it is after all a results business.

Given none of those targets have not only not been achieved, but missed quite spectacularly i’d say... Читать дальше...

Yep 12 games in 3 years.

According to Wiki

Sadly suffering from gambling and mental health issues, together with the hip problem.

If Tony Smith was still in charge we would sign him as a "project".

Wober will be a massive miss for sure.
In Sinesterras case I understand we have a young lad called Gnonto that might be useful!
I too think we have the hardest 4 games which shows how 2 points more with a win against Leicester would have done for our chances.
Bamford missing a sitter and didn`t he also miss a pen early in the season and he is having a go at Jesse`s tactics in the press.
Needs to look at himself first I would say.

I'm sure I read somewhere that the reserves fixture could be used as one of the games served, if that is the case his first game back would be.... Catalan away!

In response to the question asked by Bent & Bongser about whether any of my novels will be on sale on the day, the answer is no. That is because I do not think that I will be there, much as I would have liked to. It is always a very enjoyable affair. My absence is for four reasons; I am 83, now live in Cumbria, no longer drive and suffer with a serious heart complaint.
However if anyone wants to know more about the novels, visit my web site at geofflee.net
