Huddersfield Giants • Am I The Only One.....

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I’m sick of hearing Watson talk about the “process”.

Loses every big game he plays in.

10-0 up against 12 men and taking the 2 was beyond negative.

Is this the same Danny award that in his SL season got London relegated? Don’t see what more he could do better starting behind the 8 ball.

Unless it’s a top quality expensive coach there is no quick fix to this. It will take a lot of application and effort to turn it around.

I was a big fan of Danny after that season. He played pretty much his Championship side and got to within one game of survival. One thing about his side is that they were fit and played for each other. Читать дальше...

Leigh Leopards • Leigh 2023

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

When Leigh Centurions were promoted to SL and rebranded as Leigh Leopards I along with many others thought your 2023 season would be spent fighting relegation.
How wrong I was. You have recruited well, have a loud passionate following and create a great match atmosphere.
You play expansive footy and your an exciting team to watch. Lachlan Lam is some player.
Best of luck for the rest of the season.

Don’t want to fall out karetaker after comments on yesterday’s thread.
However in my humble opinion Morgan Knowles his the one who should be getting 6 matches and Dudson, 3 matches.
Joe Philbin can also count himself lucky with 2 matches if it’s the tackle which ended the Catalans hookers match is what he’s been suspended for.

Hipdrop tackles, Cannonball tackles and chicken wing... Читать дальше...

Nothing wrong with Facebook. It's a great invention.
It's the people that use it that is the problem.

Hip drop on Cooper.

I don't think there's any intent to do that. He doesn't drop onto the legs, the injury is his knee hitting Cooper's calf as it's planted, not from Knowles dropping his weight onto him deliberately. I don't think Knowles deliberately drops either, he's still on his feet after the injury and it's caused by the rotation and the entry of Lussick from the side.

Just been told on Twitter the injury is potentially very serious, so wish him well. Читать дальше...

Regardless of what went on here with his move to Wigan I would not ever wish an injury like that on anyone tbh, if it is that he is out for 12 months he may never face us again.

Saints need to look at the unsavoury element within their fanbase at games that they are experiencing at the moment according to Redvee forum. A few unhappy folk on there.

Wigan Warriors • Re: Wire (A)

With a very lightweight set of forwards available for Powell on Friday, it will be interesting to see how he approaches the game plan. Wigan currently have the best defence, so with less territory will Powell look to force play out wide and hope to snatch it through fancy moves? Bearing in mind Ratchford is a doubt and has been in great form, and Wrench isn't due back for a while, I'd guess at Currie left centre and Minikin on the right.

I'm never great at guessing scores but I'd plump for Warrington to suffer their first loss... Читать дальше...

Wakefield Trinity • Re: Is the club serious about increasing attendances?

There has never been a desire to use any mechanism to increase crowds that costs money. Its the main thing in his leaving speech that MC had no grounds to moan. Coupled with an awful product on the pitch for the past 4 years I'm surprised they're holding up at the 4k mark.

Warrington Wolves • Gil Dudson

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I know some have commented on the match thread but I think it warrants its own topic.

I went to my first Wire game some sixty years ago, sat in the old wooden stand with my nan. (Grandad was working so I got his ticket). I've seen some really dirty players - Joe Price, Mike Nicholas, Rathbone etc. Some of what they did was bad, even by the standards that prevailed at that time, but what Dudson did was beyond acceptable today. I just don't want Warrington to be associated with the bloke, though he holds a contract. Читать дальше...

Wakefield Trinity • Is the club serious about increasing attendances?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Michael Carter is quick to criticise the people of Wakefield for not attending games but what is the club doing.? Whilst Leigh with there rich backer are taking out full page adverts in the press we can't even update the website. 6 days before a vita home game the front page is still advertising tickets for last week's cas game... PATHETIC
