Not sure he will be seen as doing a season too many regardless of the outcome for saints this year

I appreciate you are saying it is from your point of view I’m just pointing out Wigan had more missing which probably means all things being equal they dominate that forward battle even more.
Maybe a case of investing too much in too few players? Maybe further evidenced by the thrashing the reserves took at the hands of their Wigan counterparts today.

A couple of tweets from The game caller.
Interesting that IMG won’t reveal specific thresholds until the vote has been taken. Although I can understand IMG reasoning, it would appear clubs will not know what’s in the small print until it’s too late.
The RFL/IMG have sent clubs examples of what a Grade A club looks like, Grade B club in the Heartlands and a Grade B club in an expansion area look like. It's clear from these examples that clubs will make... Читать дальше...

Makes you wonder why he came over to play championship if he was that good, unlike Fusitua I'd not seen much of him in NRL but so far Mcdonald looks like he could be useful.

Will Smith make any changes?
Will Lover be dropped? Who will Smith play at FB?
Will Jake the Snake turn the screw……
Will the home fans stay for the full 80?
Will Adam appear pitchside and do a “DeliaSmith” rallying call…

Poptart.
If you watch him on Trinity Tv interview he clearly states that hall would be leaving at the end of season anyway if we go down, So because we needed a fullback asap and had enough cover where Hall plays it was a club decision to let him go reluctantly.

Looking on the bright side ,there are still 7 or 8 teams that we should comfortably beat during the season so play off rugby should be a reality this year.

After the Catalans game I criticised his game plan.
I think it’s only fair to compliment it tonight.
Outstanding.
We old manned Wire attacking their middles who have been regarded as this strength. Isa kept Vaughn and Kasiano honest all night just running a drop off, off Shorrocks. It was brilliantly simple but so effective.
The loss of Singleton so early could really have caused us some major issues but his clarity of thought and use of subs was fantastic. Читать дальше...
With the emergance of the Pacific Island nations, I think we'll see a further decrease in international matches between England and the Southern hemisphere nations outside of world cups, and the Southern hemisphere nations will just have matches between themselves.

On Pyke I’m staggered that someone who speaks like he has a bag of Werthers Originals in his mouth is allowed to commentate on National TV.

Can anyone please explain to me why after 8 games into the season the league table has got rid of points difference and now have a percentage system in place. The SL league table is still using points difference. Why has this been done? Who authorised and for what purpose? Thanks to anyone who knows.

Ok, 9 games in, 1 loss, we would all have taken that pre-season, but I thought I'd share a few opinions and ask an obvious question.
1. Our whole gameplan is based on a strong, 80 minute pack, laying a base for Williams to have space and time to weave some magic and to create chances for our backs - For opposition, as Wigan proved and Catalans almost did, if you can stop that, we look fairly clueless and limited.
2. Powell, for reasons that he will know best, has little faith in any... Читать дальше...

The problems at this club start at the very top. Years of mismanagement, clueless appointments, disengagement with the fans, a seeming lack of interest in bringing anyone else in to help run the club and lack of investment and this is how we've become and all that is down to the owner - Pearson. He the cancer who lets mediocrity reign. People talk about how bad things where under Hetherington but all weve got to show under Pearsons stewardship is one more CC win - you could argue we signed better players... Читать дальше...
Yes a great achievement. I'm sure the club are happy of the money and are glad they ignored all the Wigan bellends on social media who said 'why are you trying to make a big thing of this it's not a real rival-reh'.

We’re 11th after 9 and the spooky barometer predicts
our best hope of a finish is 10th
Unless there is a cataclysmic change - such as firing
Uncle Tony and replacing with Des Hasler then I can
only see 10th at best
