I hope the homecoming parade isn't cancelled. The last one was fantastic.

I still remember his brilliant full lengther try against Rovers as a young teenager in a pre season game at the KC.

He's certainly been a pain in their backsides.

Made a great cover tackle on Peter Fox too

Surprised to hear that DC. Club Wembley was full-80% and the HKR side looked busy except in the top tier which I still felt was better than I’d seen before. The far left I think was Halifax allocation and they’d dint turn up in numbers for CC. Leigh side slightly less but apart from a couple of gaps second tier right I thought it was full. Basically best attendance I’d seen for several years. Good atmosphere as well and fans although in drink behaved well. @credit to the game. Читать дальше...

Once again, its not my job to figure that out. It doesn't mean I can't have a negative opinion on a decision made, based on the facts at hand. Which is - Burgess' personal success never did anything for those around him, because aside from 1 solitary year, all Souths were, were nearly men. We've had that ad nauseum.

you're the one brining his playing career into it.. saying he isn't a winner.

It just makes you look a bit silly tbh.

Sure, you can question the appointment... Читать дальше...

To the bloke I accidentally spilt beer on . Trust me when I say it was an accident, and though your parting words were “ I’m stinking”. Trust me you were stinking before I accidentally split the beer

The Virtual Terrace • A new power is rising

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Vibrant, loud, ambitious, and never dull.

Many snobs turned their nose up when Leigh were promoted. Where were the Tokyo trojans? The Guanghzhou Grizzly bears? Expansion! Blah blah. Not me. I remember commenting on how they could improve super league.

But, now they have a trophy. That’s big. Not a lucky cup run ‘underdog’ teams sometimes have either. They are top 4.

The next step is to challenge for and win the grand final. Not this season most likely, but in the coming years if they can keep building... Читать дальше...

Leeds Rhinos • Have Leeds lost hunger, as a club?

Leeming was a good player for us but there were flaws to his game. He wasn't helping the ball get out to the outside backs (and it speaks volumes that a 20 year old loose forward was able to do a better job in this respect), and Wane wouldn't pick him for England because of his soft defence.

For me the big issue with Leeming leaving was that the club didn't do anything to fill his place in the squad closer to the time, relatively early in the season. Perhaps the right players weren't around... Читать дальше...

Got to give Derek his due he's brought RL more publicity than many owners have done in decades.

Will hold my hands up and say I thought it was a naff idea, but moving away from playing in your rival and neighbours colours has been a good move.

Leeds Rhinos • Re: Have Leeds lost hunger, as a club?

It’s an absolute disgrace what’s happened to the club. Problem is, it’s terminal.

Remember when Wigan were a disinter circa 2006? It wasn’t until Uncle Mo left and IL came they sorted themselves out.

The club, from a competing for trophies point of view, is all but dead.

This is what happens when you interview this clown of a club owner first rather than the players, should have been nowhere near the mic. Brought the game into disrepute.

Hope RFl act fast and reprimand this clown.

Wakefield Trinity • Re: Jai Whitbread

That’s been the case most of season as stated in the article. The only reason these rumours have now again surfaced I suspect is to unsettle trinity ahead of a big game next week.

I can’t see what other purpose it would serve to repeat what is already known.

The Virtual Terrace • Challenge Cup Final 2024 Announced

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Revolutionary change. This will save the game.

“It’s fits with IMGs vision blah blah…”. How the F does having it in June make a difference to anything, in real terms.

They’ll move it again in a few years. So sick of random changes made for the sake of change, packaged as something to do with a vague notion of a future vision.

“Well we need to change something, when hasn’t the final been held so far? Well we’ve not held it in June yet. Ok, bang it there”.
