Leeds Rhinos • Transfer Talk / Rumour thread V4

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

If we can get better,we should. As long as it doesn't take money from the spine .

However,we already have so much to do it will be hard on one off season

Leeds Rhinos • EXT | James Donaldson - Expires: 2024

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Donno is one of the key reasons my son has got into the game. He’s always had time for chatting and photos. Therefore I’m happy for him getting an extension and think he is good for the club as a whole. He’ll play enough games with 100% effort to make his contract worthwhile. Good news he’s got a testimonial as well.

Wigan Warriors • Re: Controversial opinion

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

We’ve scored the most tries in SL and lead the league in clean breaks.

French at 6 won’t stop us winning the big games, it’ll be defence particularly in the middle stopping offloads and quick PTBs against the better packs.

Also we get criticised for lack of offloads (again we lead super league) also we give away too many penalties (we’ve conceded the fewest in SL)

Warrington Wolves • Re: TV games (not Wire)

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Hi all, with Sky "producing" all games next year, they've said that OuRLeague app will proberbly be showing alot of games. But don't you have to pay on the app to watch each game? Because i don't fancy paying even more money on top of already paying for sky sports. Disappointing if so but hopefully will get at least 3-4 games a week on Sky.

To me, asking to meet the parents is a valid case in point, if that person is young, and is still a bit wet behind the ears in business, but he isn't.

Out of curiosity, Michael Carters wealth is, mainly through his Dad's business. Did Glover ask to meet his parents?

Furthermore, I believe the Ellis family have a box at the club, and have done for some time. Surely JM will have had plenty of opportunity before now to meet them.

To me, he doesn't want to let go... Читать дальше...

I always found him quite uncomfortable to watch because he flung his body around as though he was a lot bigger than he actually is, it looked a bit dangerous for himself. But with the amount of softies and lazy gits we've had you've got to praise his commitment and effort.

London Broncos • Re: What next?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Listening to the media put out by the club this year, this season was about being better than last season. From what some of the re-signed players have said, there is a long term vision, it's just not being shared with the supporters yet.

Thats not a bad thing if he can recapture his form. He is British and what, 26?.
We just need some explosive line break /line bend power in the forwards, atm we have none. Lots of hard grafters.

London Broncos • What next?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I fancy us for the game against Haven as long as we don’t get complacent. But it got me thinking about what size crowd there would be. Hopefully a better crowd than against Halifax but, unfortunately despite a good side, decent weather and a string of home games I am not hopeful gates will be on the up. The huge absence of home games mid May through to end of July, coupled with slightly lacklustre opening home fixture performance and 1st game back after that break means it all feels like after the Lord Mayors Show. All the talk about improving the culture within the club is a load of absolute rubbish if this is the type of signing we’re making

If we scrap the loop fixtures, where does the income cone from the 2 home games lost. Expand to 14, central funding reduces funding per team.

As it stands the loop fixtures have to stay until a viable replacement is available.

Ideally you expand to 14, but then like you say there is the issue about less central funding, also depends whether there are two clubs out of York, Toulouse, Bradford, Sheffield, Fev, Widnes that can make a proper long term go of super league. Читать дальше...

Hull FC • Warrington next

After seeing the 21 man squad I'd go

Litten
Swift
Sutcliffe
Scott
McIntosh
Trueman
Clifford
Taylor/Brown
Dwyer
Fash
Savelio
Lane
Cator

Satae
Brown/Taylor
Staverley
Gardiner/Lovodua

If Taylor is declared fit for the game then he has to start, if there are any doubts with him then Gardiner comes in to the 17 in place of Taylor. Same with Staverley if he is 100% then time for him to come in to the 17 in place of Lovodua.
Cator can... Читать дальше...
