so by the sounds of it we were our usual garbage but sneaked a win?

Total mixed bag.

We scored some lovely trys, but there were some poor defensive efforts and a couple of brainfarts - Sezer not realising it was the last then Wire scored infuriated me at the time, but then he made a great break for one of the trys, and his kick to fusitua was a peach.

We just needed to win today and to be fair rhe lads did look up for it were just lacking a decent spine at the moment... Читать дальше...

He could be a class above in this league. The pack may see a major reshuffle after last weekend with quite a few changes I would imagine.

Comment on FB from todays (Cornwall) game suggests that he went well and was looking fit and strong, anyone concur?

Halifax Panthers • Re: London

Disappointing result; was happy with the team picked but difficult to gauge how much last week took out of them . Wasn't there so don't know at what stage Maizen and JWH were withdrawn but losing 2 backs, especially a half must have namade a a difference. Would guess Tibbs and Keyes will be brought in next week, both are on paper great replacements but obviously very short of recent match practice. Only good part of the day is that because of other results we're still in touch with the teams above... Читать дальше...

If results go by current form until the end of season then it’s likely we will either finish 3rd or possibly 2nd.
I’m assuming Catalan will finish 1st and Saints will finish 2nd.
To win the GF we would have to beat Saints away and then Catalan in the final in consecutive weeks. I don’t think that we have it in us at the moment to do that. We are consistently inconsistent. The one consistent is poor starts to a game.
We just have to move French from HB. It just isn’t working. Not sure what... Читать дальше...

Good hard working performance after disastrous start to the game. Macani did well despite taking a knock early on. Nice win and good atmosphere.although not a particularly big crowd again. Shame really as we did well in defence and created a few chances against a decent side.

The poster was right Big Mick isn't aggressive enough but had a safe game Walters offers more at the moment especially with his offloads.

Leeds Rhinos • Have Leeds lost hunger, as a club?

That's just not true about negative comments not being allowed or shot down, is it? I for one have had a go at GH for quite some time, as have others. He is 100% responsible for the mess since the Golden Generation retired. I have more sympathy for Smith than some, as he's been brought in to revamp the team, meaning replacing many of our big earners. I am very disappointed in this season. However, unlike people who live in cloud cuckoo land, I just don't see... Читать дальше...

I honestly don't see how it's more prone to manipulation than the current scoring system or the more comple one you suggest. Or perhaps I'm just missing your point.
It's all academic anyway as the current GP system appears here to stay soI'll just have to lump it.

Wigan Warriors • Controversial opinion

We need a quality No6. Hampshire & Cust are not good enough. If the price to pay is losing French or Field, then so be it, although I'd rather retain both and have French on the wing and Field at full back, with Field moving to stand off occasionally if there's a knock to either the stand-off or Smith and French filling in at full back.
