Halifax Panthers • London away part 2

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

A very tough but equally important game as we return to the league . We return to the capital trying to maintain a place in the playoffs. Regardless of my opinions on whether we are ready for superleague or not every game has to be played with that being the objective. It’s gonna be nip and tuck whether we actually make the playoffs but if we do I think we have a good chance of winning it . Back to the game , many players I would imagine being emotionally and physically drained with the story of... Читать дальше...

Last weeks game will doubtless have taken a lot out of the team, so I'd expect Grix to utilise several who missed out at Wembley. I'd be surprised if he didn't find a place for Crooks and Sutcliffe; normally you'd expect Keyes if fit to be a certainty, but I've not a clue who he'd drop to accommodate him, as in my view JWH, Jouffret and Pickersgill all deserve their place. If one was to go I'd reluctantly drop Pickersgill and move JWH back to fullback. Then he's still got the luxury of Fleming... Читать дальше...

Duckie, it must be exhausting for you to have to cover every base, just so you can come on here, at various points in the future, and tell everyone how you were right?

You do remind me of that saying about if you throw enough sh!te at the wall, some of it will stick eventually...

I think I’m just fed up now.
Once again I find myself wishing the season was over.
It’s like we’ve turned the clock back 25 years.

We need both to be in the squad for Sunday. It's an ideal opportunity for them to get to know the systems and structures before we take on Dewsbury. Even good players need to gel. What we really don't want is for their first game to be a play-off match.

Heard today that Oldham will be playing their home play-off games at Boundary Park.

Someone on Redvee says Burgess is after a clear out but the board are putting a block on it for now. Well any truth in that or not I’d hope Dudson was/is on that list.

It may be the Board are wary after last season. Certainly the optics on Oli Holmes saying he was told to ship out the day before his op were not great.

Saints appealing the appeal again. Time to buckle up! You can only really launch a second appeal on the grounds of technicalities and so forth, heard we are doing it on the grounds of being given the wrong charge, which I’m assuming is based on the conclusion from the first appeal, which means it’s fairly likely we will win and the ban will be overturned.

Twitter should be fun!

If it is anywhere as nonsensical as last time (for Knowles) it really opens up the floodgates. Читать дальше...

In his dreams. He was involved in a London community club in the 90s, selling himself as an Aussie Schoolboy player. You should have seen him on the pitch

He was and probably still is the king of self promotion. I won't go into my dealings with him, but I wouldn't trust him to run a bath.

If they are going to the NRL then it shows we are producing good players.

Hudds and Wigan are both losing young players to the NRL

Also it seems all it takes is for one person to post something on twitter and it’s seen as gospel these days.
