There wont be a recruitment decision made that doesn't involve GH's agreement. He holds the purse strings.

Yeah 'cos there's lots of sporting clubs where the board just let the manager or coach sign contracts without board approval.

So of course he's involved. But we know that Smith takes the lead in identifying what players he wants.

Wigan Warriors • Rumours and signings v9

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Surely the option for Mago would have a deadline for Wigan to activate it otherwise he would not be able to discuss his future with anyone.

That deadline would likely have been May so the chances are he’s either agreed elsewhere already or we have already extended his contract but not announced it.

The Virtual Terrace • Saints squad, can they be stopped?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

The MRP are doing their bit. Just the 11 citings for Saints this week, including Sam Royle being cited for, I kid you not, slowing the play the ball down. Despite ruminating over the weekend they were unable to find a rule they could fit this in as a ban. But at least they managed to sneak in an imaginary charge for Joe Batchelor so he becomes bannable if he does anything...

Meanwhile Liam Bryne does the same tackle Matty Lees copped a ban for and doesn't even get charged and Sam Tomkins gets... Читать дальше...

Fogarty would be brilliant in SL. Titans should never of got rid, neither should the Raiders.

Never seen out from Keyes to suggest he’s near SL level.

I think most of us would agree we are now in (very) long-shot territory in regard to top-six hopes!

Whether or not we make the six, I think the key over these last four games is, what is our attitude and commitment like?

TS should be using these four games to drill into the squad that our aim should always be to win the game which is happening in front of us, irrespective of opponent or surrounding circumstance.

The very best always seek to win, at all times... Читать дальше...

Problem with signing Walker that would give us 3 fullbacks (Walker, Litten and Hoy), I know can play 6, but his main position is FB.

What happens if Hoy or new 7 get injured who plays at halfback?

Think we'd be better signing another halfback rather than a FB or someone like Hampshire who can play both.

Well with no rumours and those 'in the know' not sharing any info its reasonable to assume there are no new recuits to be announced

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

3rd V 1st then. How massive would a win here do for the club and the belief.

We need to be on it from minute 1 to get a win. They are beatable though as Fax have proved twice. I've said it before, Fev remind me of that team you played at junior rugby where every player on their team is bigger than yours and they just bully everybody. But as soon as they come up against a team they can't just steam roll, they look vulnerable IMO looking at their forum they still seem to be clunky in attack. Читать дальше...
