Sorry, I'm in the minority who finds the NRL games a bit of a bore-fest. What's done differently there?

We didn't bottle it in the 2012/13 Grand Finals but we came up against very good mentally tough teams.
When Leeds beat us that was their 5th Grand Final win in 6 years.
Wigan in 2013 didn't have as good personnel as Leeds, nor us (although the injuries did mess up our shape second half) but they were a tough side. Look at Blake Green as a classic example. A good player but not a world beater. Playing in the biggest game of his life, first few minutes... Читать дальше...
Impressive half from Wigan that. Mago the difference maker again. Four tries to zero with the two penalties conceded only from bad referee decisions.

Ryan King went off injured towards the end of the game against Barrow a couple of weeks back I watched it on the Viaplay freebie, looked in a bit of pain round the upper leg / hip area and don’t really care if he plays or not, just hope it’s not too serious for the bloke.

I always thought Hooley was signed due to his pace and would automatically take Myler`s position when he retired or got injured.
Whilst Miller is a good signing and an upgrade we are desperate for a couple of halfbacks and a prop.

Ive seen Bruines on dual reg at Crusaders a couple of times this year. Tall, good defender but hangs onto the ball instead of letting it go too often.
Nowhere near the quality of Wrench imo.

I’ve procrastinated with him several times on here about his attitude to Happy Clappers, the same happy clappers who buy passes, shirts and lottery tickets and on top of that spend a fortune travelling away, some taking whole families with them. He lives in a time capsule, 3000 miles away and responds to any disagreement with his usual rhetoric, I coached Shaull etc.
As you say, 1 game in 5 years and he’s an expert, very close to the ignore button for me. Come on you happy clappers
Wigan v Salford tonight.
Could really do with Pies doing us a favour. Home advantage might make the difference with a thinner Pie filling than usual.

Fairly positive press conference from Farke. Not expecting any more to outgoings or incomings.
Also Sinnistera said he wasn't leaving when asked as he was leaving training

Makes sense if there are doubts over Blackmore. First use of dual reg in ages.
I'm bringing a lapsed fan with me on Sunday - hopefully we'll give a decent account of ourselves.

Ratchford covering 9 next season apparently with Dwyer not coming (thank heavens). I hope we don’t sign Rashford as I hope our gimmick signings are a thing of the past. Matautia retiring as well I believe….I thought he already had.

Pleased news of recruitment has started. Seen him a few times in NRL. A big athletic backrow forward. Let's hope he stays fit. A young player which is a positive. Jones seems to have disappeared, Macqueen may well retire, so an area we need players. I'd love to see a top hooker and half back.
