I would suggest that Lovegrove is the major factor in the Broncos second half of the season success. Two weeks after his arrival they play better. No coincidence.

Cas are certainly haemorrhaging players. May be general housekeeping or a symptom of something deeper. Time will tell I suppose.

If AOB is staying a huddersfield, we wouldn't go far wrong bringing Curtis Davies back from newcastle as a third hooker option imo

Farewell to the best player i have seen in the C&G, wingers don't have the same impact as halfbacks and many would say Danny Brough was better but for me Jerry is the best player we have had in the time i have watched (Since Murphy was coach).

Jerry - has been a champion for us, probably wise at this stage of his career
Macqueen - has been an excellent recruit, most games I saw he was close to be the best player, a fabulous line runner
Peats - very good in his first spell, and having watched him play in Oz, a terrific player
Fages - sadly injured too much
Trout - disappeared this year, disappointing

If the rumours that Cameron Smith told fans in the crowd after the Hudds game that MacDonald would not play for Leeds again are true, then it is pretty unprofessional and certainly not captain material. You would never have had Sinfield saying such things to the fans.

It's alright scoring all these points and the money it costs, but what about the thing that really matters, The Team, and the product on the field. Not much good getting a A with a duff team.
I don’t get the logic of it all.
All this for 12 elite teams, when the grass roots of the game is in a terrible state.
