Clearly that is not true, they want as many A grades as they can. But Championship teams are aiming for a high B.

The aim is that the A grade is achieved by being balanced across all metrics, the moment a club tries to game the system by fielding a weak team and investing in other areas to gain the A grade will force them to review the grading criteria and weighting as having a poor team with a shiny stadium will negatively impact the perception of the sport as a whole and likely affect future revenue. Proper rugby league ground, where the crowd is really close to the action, creating a great atmosphere even with a fairly small crowd. When I started watching Fax in the early 80's there were a lot of grounds like this - no good for superleague or IMG, but great for this level of rugby. Will be interesting to see who starts as several forwards took very heavy knocks on Saturday- would think Murray and possibly Fleming might come back - I would think the backs will be unchanged and while Maizen can... Yes but like Mopsey, I remember the early 80's it was horrible. Don't ever want to go through that again. The trouble is many think it will be a breeze to get back up, I am not too sure on that. Also I don't trust the game like I used to, Who knows once the chosen few at the top get their favoured clubs, there may not be a place for us and the draw bridge could shut. That's why I think it was totally irresponsible by Minards and Carter to go this most important season with such a poor squad and coach... Читать дальше...

Warrington Wolves • Worst plays you've ever seen?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I remember a game at Wakefield where we were 6 points up going into the last couple of minutes. Wakefield scored but missed the conversion, which should have sealed the game for us. Then we gave away a stupid penalty which gave them a chance to kick a penalty to salvage a draw. The Wire fans were absolutely furious. Steve McNamara was their goalkicker, and his kick didn't even make it to the posts. Unfortunately it made it to Dean Busby who tried to catch it but knocked on, a Wakefield player picked it up and scored... Читать дальше...

Wigan Warriors • Where will we finish?

Looking like a huge following for Leigh away. Behind the sticks sold out and down the side now flying.

Should be great atmosphere

Halifax Panthers • Return to Lawkholme Lane.

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Sunday sees Fax's return to Keighley after a fair few years away. This is one of my favourite away trips anywhere, unfortunately i can't make the game this time which is more than frustrating! For those who are going it will surely be a Fax win to keep up our recent momentum...won't it? Up The Fax!

Surely the arguments for moving French to the wing get slowly weaker and weaker, as Miski continues to show great form in both attack and defence, and French continues to go well at 6? It's not like we're going to land Cam Munster or Jarome Luai.

Can anyone remember that young lad called Longstaff? He was supposed to be the next superstar but just seemed to fade away.

We have +16 start on the handicap and Leigh are 1/8 odds for a straight win.
I'd have to put £216 on them just to get back the £27 for my ticket!
We're not even getting the away end!

We have 18 start on skybet and I expect that to drift to 20/22 once the squads are announced.
Leigh giving 16 on the handicap seems the bet to take.

I’m aware that Welsby isn’t the best defensive fullback, but I must have missed Field becoming one? Pretty much every time I’ve watched him he’s been pretty abysmal in defence on the whole

Crazy time of year - if you are half decent and you are with a club likely to go down, your agent will be texting you all day long with leads and potential offers - when your main job is still to keep focussed on the day job.

Imagine blokes like Whitbread - probably already got an agreement in principle or a pre contract somewhere like Warrington. Gets injured every other week so the fans think he is shirking. Читать дальше...

Article in the French press reporting Toulouse "on the verge of bankruptcy". Seems they are running with something like a 300,000 Euro deficit, despite an injection of cash at the start of the season.

Hull FC have signed him and as a Hull fan I'd like to have Trinity fans views on him. I understand he plays hooker or half back and while probably not starting he'll add depth to our squad next season.

My question is basically is he any good?

Cheers.
