Halifax Panthers • Toulouse

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

With our win at Whitehaven this match on Saturday has become hugely important. A good second half display and another runout for Joe Keyes in Cumberland augers well for the team's hopes for the season's run in but it all depends on this game. Toulouse are looking likely to get 2nd spot and may not be at full strength so it's definitely a game we can get the points from. Let's just hope we get a linesman who can see three foot in front of him. Lol! I'll go for a Fax win on Saturday evening, something like 26v14. Читать дальше...

If it's Cullen's job to make sure Wire are given an easy ride, then he's done a pretty poor job, considering he basically crippled our season, handing out 2 huge bans to McGuire, which it could easily be argued was the catalyst for wrecking any morale and momentum that the side was building?

Yeh but that’s been overlooked by all the teams around us now.

Wigan Warriors • Where will we finish?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Hell of a long way to go but i would absolutely love to finish top and get to the GF the day before probable) Catalans and Saints slug it out for the other spot. That would be a hell of a spectacle for the neutral. One which i think Saints would win and then god knows in a Wigan v Saints final.

Agree there's definitely a conflict of interest, but wouldn't expect anything else from the incompetent RFL.

Difficult that one really as theres rightfully in his circumstances an obligation to the player. However, we've known this was his last season all year.

According to Serious About RL, we've signed Wesley Bruines from Saints as a centre, but not heard anything official (Burgess invllvemdnt when Bruines went over to Oz).
I cant see us getting - or needing - ANOTHER centre if that's the case.

I'd assumed Bruines would be a longer term work in progress rather than a first team centre?

I don’t know why Croft was left out when Langi came back personally as I thought he was in pretty good form. His defence is quite good and he really does have a good pair of hands on him. He’s only just turned 22 I think and I genuinely believe he will make a good centre in the next few years.

I hope we keep him whether it’s in SL or in Championship.

Leeds Rhinos • Re: OUT 2024 | Zane Tetevano - Released

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

The Tetevano signing was hailed by most people on here as a great signing but in hindsight we didn't get anything like the player we wanted. He was steady after he got over his disciplinary issues, but we needed so much more. It just goes to show that big names with NRL pedigree aren't guaranteed to make it in SL.

IMO he was a bit unfairly targeted by officials early on (it didn't help that his first red card came in a cup match against Saints on the BBC - if I recall correctly).

Warrington Wolves • Remaining season

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

There’s no point getting to a grand final if we aren’t going to win it, and to win it we need to be beating any of the top 4 teams away from home. So it doesn’t really matter where we finish. I honestly think it would be better for us to finish 6th and take the hardest route, with less expectation and pressure on us. We’ve got more than enough quality in the squad, and if the players just go out there to do the basics well and enjoy themselves the rest will look after itself.

Winning the big... Читать дальше...

Conspiracy theories abound with the MRP potentially having a say how the Red Devils will be lining up against us this Sunday. I'd like to see two full strength teams going full tilt and if Agent Cullen's Master Plan doesn't work, we could always switch the generator off if only it was an evening KO.

Big game this as our Play Off place could be pretty much assured this weekend with three wins on the bounce. Will we won't we??

Konrad Herrels try, he clearly leads with his right elbow into the face of Senior which allows him to break the tackle
Hurrell should at the least been sin binned for the late hit on Dagger if not dismissed
LMS is clearly a yard and a half offside and then puts pressure on the full back

On a positive note, let’s give some recognition and praise to Jack Croft who supplied two sublime passes for Kershaw to touch down unopposed. It’s been quite a while since we had a Centre who could get his winger away to score

Leeds Rhinos • Have Leeds lost hunger, as a club?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Given this season it felt like the club just had to make a statement about not accepting being rubbish any more. When we signed Miller I thought we were going to go big at halfback. Then Frawley. Its pretty damning when Peter Smith's comments are basically about giving Frawley a chance. Oh, and he's played 50 NRL games.

The criticism on here and elsewhere has been growing and its really hard to feel excited for next season. One thing's for sure, I doubt Rohan will treat the off-season and pre-season games as a glorified Its a Knockout. Читать дальше...

That's another way, like Lovodua and the PNG lad Warrington have signed. It doesn't seem like Hawkins has that, enough appearances or a helpful passport.
