To think Smith gave him the opportunity possibly due to their friendship and he sticks two fingers up at his friend and the club.
Disgusting attitude to have.
Out of interest if he is still a Leeds player one would assume we are covering his insurance.
What if he gets a career ending injury?

He's AWOL so assume we are not paying him as he's in breach of contract. If we are paying him we are even softer touch... Читать дальше...

Thinking about it, they're going to have to change the play-off structure. You can't have team 6 in a 9 team league qualifying for the play-offs. Having team 6 included in a 10 team league was pushing it a bit.

I know I would.

Why would it be a dead rubber? If Salford win this week, and so do we, then all to play for. Even if we win and Salford lose, but the reverse happens next week, is our PD that superior?

There are reports today that London Skolars have gone bust and will no longer compete in Championship 1 next season. Warrington Wolves • Re: Results under Chambers vs Powell

The thing is, Chambers is just holding the reins until he's DOR. I don't think we're expected by the club to hope for anything more than mediocrity until the new coach comes in. Anything better than 7th will be seen as a bonus by the club.

The one thing that gives me hope is that if we can manage to get 6th, anything can happen. We can go into every playoff game with nothing to lose and no pressure and try something different. We've seen the 5th/6th placed clubs do it plenty of times (especially... Читать дальше...

Warrington Wolves • Re: King back - official

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

The arguments for me are quite simple.

Is he better than what we have currently? Yes

Is he better than the majority that is out there at the moment? For me yes he is holding down a starting centre position for the team that for me is going to top the league, he has is failings but I don't see many better options. Currently I don't see Wrench, or Bruines ahead of him, maybe one day although I think Wrench is destined for the wing.

The whole marque argument is a non starter, the only slot he is taking up is the club fed slot... Читать дальше...

Warrington Wolves • Results under Chambers vs Powell

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Just as an aside, I like looking at the statistics of our results.

This season under Powell we won 12 of his 22 games = 55%. (That's playing Wigan and Saints twice too).
Under Chambers we have won 2 of 5 = 40%. If we win the last 2 (and it's a big if) it will be 4/7 = 57%

Yet I get the feeling that some forum members believe we have turned a corner and we may have a run in the playoffs? Why is that?

BTW I am not knocking Chambers at all. He never touted for the job and has been dealt a pretty poor hand. Читать дальше...
