Certain teams suit certain opposition. We’ve struggled against Leigh 3 times this season yet Wigan have swatted them away with ease. Salford always give us problems yet again Wigan seem to beat Salford easily.
Before Saturday just gone, Leeds seemed to be the team that gave Wigan problems.

I was really hoping that Leon Hayes would come through next year as he has been scoring a lot of points for Crusaders. Drinkwater has only shown rare glimpses of skill and needs to be far more involved - he rarely takes on the line to make breaks or score tries. We need much more than that.

I don’t like to question the wisdom of our Chairman but this is not a good year to be relegated. His ambition that we could reach an A grade is similarly questionable. We will at best be a B along with many others. He doesn’t appear to think that we need to finish top, he wants to pin a lot on the ground but until the West Stand is redeveloped ours is no better than many in the Championship.

construction and regulation size there's no reason it couldn't be all standing. there would be, like all standing areas, a regulated capacity

I thought Atoni had a very good game against Catalan and got stuck in. I think it was that tackle Infront of the boxes well into the second half. Great cover tackle and smashed the player. Looked legal to me so did the one Esse got a yellow for. The clown reffing just seemed to want to penalise us for every tackle that their players purported to be injured, irrespective of legality.
Walters banned for 1 game therefore misses the Catalan game.
Must admit I don`t recall the incident.

Don't start the voluntary tackle stuff off again.
That wasn't even the most controversial one in Saints v Bradford games either. The knock on by Withers was. He still claims he didn't touch it. The video ref decision seemed to take about 9 days.

Well on the signing of Ben Crookes Richard Durgan publicly thanked Ian Croad for his help whilst he was away.
The press statement in part was.

I think Jowitt at hooker isn't something we'd have seen had Segeyaro not got injured. Needs must I guess and he looks like player who'd better suited somewhere else - it reminds me of when we played Robbie Paul at hooker. Neither him or Flanagan are even a medium term option as our dummy half and I think this area is the most important position we need to address in recruitment.
Jowitt did take some wrong options but then Flanagan did as well with that awful kick on the last in the first half. Читать дальше...
