I was watching him closely and he was doing way too much work in D to have real sting in offence. I think they slimmed him down too. He’s a good player Holroyd I’m glad he’s cementing his place after a few disrupted seasons early on.

Poor all round performance tonight other than Messliers top class save.
Rutter again trying too many fancy flicks and lost the ball quite a lot.
James I agree JB should have come off on the hour mark for Gnonto.
Gray caught out at the back for their goal when he should have moved out in line with the other defenders.
Struijk another bad clearance leading up to their goal that`s 3 in 4 games for Struijk.

Cheers FT, sounds good but do clubs get graded on hits/subscriptions or % increases ??
If it's the latter then I would hope that our % increases will be going through the roof in the next 12 months, especially if we can get some success on the field

You make a great point and I can recall a few times where Burrow was knocked around attempting to tackle. He was flipping great in D, barely ever saw anyone get past him what a champion attitude he had.

I really think the authorities are over-estimating the medical effect of stray arms to the head. It's becoming impossible to make effective tackles and the whole thing frustrates players and fans alike. Playing these rules will make it more dangerous. If you go high with a shoulder to shoulder tackle what you do is slow down the attacker for your other team mates to go low which is safer than going low.

If you low you risk an elbow or a knee, or another players head who is going low at the same time.

In this day and age where there is a rise of mma, bare knuckle boxing and slap fighting the RFL need to get a grip and tell the do gooders to shove it otherwise we won’t have a sport. Читать дальше...
