Wakefield Trinity • Rumours thread

No we don’t if Powell says we don’t, I think the guy knows his stuff don’t you?

I haven't heard him say we don't need cover there.

But it's a reasonable test in a friendly to take good players off to see how the team can cover.
Franco was certainly weaker but with more time he can be good enough for Championship.

Wakefield Trinity • As good as it gets.

I would normally tend to agree here PT.

There were some very unsavoury comments aimed our way from their, following the financial issues we had at the start of the millenium.

Around that same time there was a lack of trust between certain folk of Yorkshire CC and Leeds Rugby Ltd.

Maybe they weren't whiter than white

I would have have preferred to see Dudson leave.

He offers absolutely nothing while Kasiano has good ball distribution skills. and is a game changer off the bench.

If Burgess can motivate the team as we all hope, then Kasiano would have been asset and it now looks that we are stuck with Dudson for his final season with us.

Hopefully we will be able to loan him out to Widnes, in the Dual Registration deal we have with them.

Difference is Kasiano is taking up a quota spot... Читать дальше...

Leeds Rhinos • Re: ALL NEW 49ERS ERA LEEDS UTD THREAD

Said pretty much the same thing.
Gnonto should have started for James and why take Spence off when Gray was losing the battle most of the game?
Rutter too was off in the first half but Bamford or Joseph not the answer.
We do struggle when teams bully us or try to rough us up.

Leeds Rhinos • Boxing Day | Wakefield Trinity

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

My big thing with the young lads is that they look like natural players Lumb Mcormack, Smith and Littlewood all looked like natural players.

Frawley for all his detractors looked like exactly what we need.

Agree on Jack as well, improving all the time but defensively not quite there yet. Probably would benefit from a loan.

In the junior game they have gone further than RU when determining the age when tackling can begin. Will soon be u'10s before they even begin contact which seems a bit over the top to me if they're taught correctly. By under 8's the kids are usually desperate to move on from tag. If coached correctly, I honestly don't see it anymore riskier... Читать дальше...

That was built over many years. It'll take a long time to emulate that.

Twenty years to be exact.

It doesn’t need to take that long or be quite as ambitious, it’s the principle. Being back in SL, and competing and maybe a CC in the next few years would do most of us.

I for one dare not look as far as twenty years ahead and be sure I’ll still be here, so my aims are definitely more modest.
