They’ve announced they’ve passed 5000 season tickets which is some effort. They’re well on the way to gaining an average gate of 6000 per game.

They’re going straight back up aren’t they?

Fair play if they have. The fans at least will be like we were in 2015. Relegation behind us, look forward, excitement for something new. That year I thought we had a great season. Just a shame we couldn't do it at the end. Places some of their fans have never been before etc. Читать дальше...

Simple design. Excellent for me. Riddled with sponsors but that’s what it is in todays game. Looks one of the better shirts.

I guess ultimately we need more coaches at the level. I’m really hoping a few in the rhinos academy make the grade into first team - some decent prospects.

One of the saddest things I've seen in sport was Tupou trying to play on with a knee that you could see was swelling from 40 yards away in his first and last game back after injury in a reserve outing. Hope he's doing OK now, he gave everything he had to us.

Totally agree, I was there and he clearly had the willingness to play still but that knee just ballooned up early in the game and he spent much of the match limping around. Was so heartbreaking seeing him try play through it. Читать дальше...

Funnily enough, my dad worked in Sussex when he left school but I've never ventured down that way. I'm sure it is lovely. I know the price of petrol is getting cheaper but I think I'll give it a miss!

Better coach ed though seeing what the rhinos do in schools I hope their support of clubs is better. Coach ed for me needs firstly to instill simple yet criminally overlooked principles ie maximize all players active participation in sessions ie 1 ball each or 1 between 2 where appropriate, swap drills that include lots of queuing for more active ones. Players should be active for at least 80% of the session but queues are commonplace.

Unfortunately you're always going to be limited because the majority are low skilled volunteers... Читать дальше...

The good problem at that time was we had 2 wingers and two centres who could go 80 yard because of speed ,.When I said we were short of speed before last season started ,got shot down fans saying S L is not about speed, So why are we in the Championship

I like TC he’s been very good at commentating the games.
He was at his best on the radio where he was one of the most listenable and knowledgeable commentators for years.

Ian Brooke and David Wandless were arguably the best team of commentators we’ve had, they bounced off each other, had a bit of fun at each others expense but were knowledgable and had just the right amount of passionate home bias

Same, hope we use Houghton less and give Balmforth more of a chance to see if he is SL standard or if we do need to recruit a 9 for 2025

Just to be clear,my criticism of TC is nothing at all to do with his accent, but his very frequent mistakes in commentary. If we are appealing to a bigger and newer audience wouldn't it be better to get the product as good as we can.I watch all the the broadcasts and enjoy them, but just think they could be so much better.

Design is Ok, but wrong shade of blue. A bit like the mid-90's Marshalls shirt which looked like it been through a hot-wash with bleach.

The Marshalls shirt was fantastic but the wrong colour. This shirt is an awful design and the wrong colour. Saying that, there's only so much you can do with royal blue and white hoops. Personally i would insert a touch of black into the kit and this could then be reflected in the leisure wear. Up The Fax!

I thought Edwin had his family with him now, so would have thought he would be with them.Maybe Ben is a lodger at Edwins place at the moment until he sorts his contract situation out. Could follow Joe to Salford. Sailors visa issue may now be sorted, so we let Mellor go now.

Good luck Joe .Always enjoyed watching Joe play, played it a little different from most other half backs I felt we were blessed with plenty of options at half this season especially with the rumour of various players coming in but saying that I don't think Joe would have wanted another season of playing second fiddle at half and back hooker so he has done what is best for his family and career so thanks for the memories Joe and all the best .
