This stuff is great. He's looking to build the club, not just a first team.

He really must be minted because that will cost serious money.

He’s on the right lines with getting the Council onboard. A facility which would clearly benefit the community as a whole is harder for the Council to duck responsibility for than a stadium.

There is no reason a council as land rich as WMDC can’t gift us the land and other forms of support.

Wigan Warriors • Re: Season ticket sales

Good news and hopefully time for that figure to be pushed up yet. In the longer run, I agree we need to try and get it back towards five figures.

I think we’ve had the debate on here before about what could be done to get more people in and I think an offer to entice ex season tickets holders to come back at a price somewhere between the auto renewal and early bird costs would help. Maybe that sort of offer could be extended to people with a booking history of buying tickets to 5 or more home game in the previous season (or similar). Читать дальше...

Bradford Bulls • Re: 2024 Squad and Recruitment

Would be a decent recruit even if he's a loanee. We're expecting Jowitt to fill in at fullback, stand off, scrum half and hooker if we get injuries in those positions.

Saving the planet has to be easier than saving the Broncos! He still moves well though.

Aren't changes going to be made for 2024 season in the North stand, in order to accommodate the sale of drinks etc ?

Yes of course but we are talking about changes to increase the capacity which would be much more time consuming as your looking at the structure and potential modifications.

The refreshments will be for 2024 but I think the capacity was said next season and I took that to mean 2025.

If available, we should be in for Johnstone to replace Fusitua IMO. The last time an English winger came available like him was Briscoe and he came so hopefully this could be the same. It also opens a quota spot to use elsewhere, given the fact that our OOC players are - Donaldson, Fusitua (OQ), Johnson, Martin (OQ), McDonnell, Newman, Nicholson-Watton, Olpherts, Roberts.

There isn’t much manoeuvre space, as I’d expect that Donaldson, Johnson, Olpherts, Roberts do leave, with perhaps Fusitua > Johnstone - Martin... Читать дальше...

If walker isn't good enough to be our starting hooker then we should have released him and kept Clark. We wouldn't have had to sign another 2 reserve hookers then either.
