Max could do a job there, trouble is you then need a full back.

The player that surprises me is Atoni, I thought he was injured, however good news to see him turn out.

I wanted Saints to lose before the game but with all the crap they were getting from the Oz media I was made up when they won.
I think we've all on to beat them and IMO it'll be as good as the Brisbane win if we manage it.

I thought that the Saints win was fantastic for them particularly after Penrith clawed their way back into the game. Aussies are and always have been poor losers. Always a ready made excuse if they ever lose.
The record books won’t give reasons why a team lost or won... Читать дальше...

My one fear for the Boxing Day game is over zealous refereeing of the new rules which unfortunately is human nature.

Never said there was.

Equally, there’s nothing wrong with having a moan and expecting the worst. Just different ends of the coping mechanism spectrum.

The validity of an opinion correlates with how successful the club a fan supports is, does it?

Rhetorical question, it doesn’t. And I know you’re primarily a fan of trolling rather than rugby league. Is there a troll community, where you share tips and tricks, and stories of your successes in the realm of being tiresome? Читать дальше...

It seems they've launched a shirt before Xmas, that you can't actually have. Now I'm no marketing guru but that seems a bit pointless?

Frustrating.

Slightly OT but cas have just signed muizz on a 4 year deal.
While I'm delighted for him it seems an odd decision. Far as I know, he has hardly been ever present in their match day 17.

Yes you are both right there gents.
I`m on a glass half empty mode probably down to it would have been my Mums birthday on the 21st and riddled with a full blown cold/cough and feeling sorry for myself.
I think it`s down to us dropping points in the last 2 games when we should be picking them up in order to catch Ipswich.
Win today and all will seem so much better
I have us down for a 2-1 or 3-2 loss though.

Halifax Panthers • Re: Squad 2024

AOB & Joe Keyes named captains with Fairbank as vice. Not really a huge surprise after last season looking a little rudderless and with AOB expected to be on the pitch for most of the game. Opportunites could be limited for Moore but lets hope that we can see more of the player we saw before he got the captaincy.

I always like the expression ‘can finish’ where a winger is concerned.

Call me old fashioned but o believe some things can be coached but some things can’t. Being a natural finisher comes top of the list for me.

I know the modern winger needs a full range of skills, but tackling, positional awareness... Читать дальше...

The down side to social media. Anyone can start a page and pretend to be a journalist even without the necessary skills or ability. Add that to the massive volume of data farming pages that the public just like, comment, share and click links on. It’s a huge black market is data these days and the amount of oblivious people who just offer up interaction is just mind blowing. It’s just a minefield.

As for SARL the articles are shockingly poor in quality, structure and lack any sort of cohesion. Читать дальше...

Can’t say I know much about either of them as I didn’t watch and reserve or academy last season.

Is Wood the tall lad in the YouTube video released today?

Exactly! It's not all about themselves and their stupid claims (Clarke) or OTT hyperbole (any of the rest) or trying to sound intelligent but looking ridiculous (JJB). They just love RL and promote it as fans.

[quote="Stu M"]I think had we been given more credit, I would've swayed with supporting Wigan.

Again I say that this is a load of rubbish. How do expect to come onto a Wigan site and expect to be praised. Just imagine me going onto redvee and expecting praise. All I would expect is the usual abuse. Please don't pretend to be an unbiased Saints fan who can shout for Wigan because I am pretty sure that none of them exist.

What are you on about? You list a player say he didn’t tear up SL (Dream Team selection).

Then you make a random comment saying you don’t believe all players who come from NRL are better than SL players (nobody said they were). Taking this one step further the vast majority of SL players with NRL experience are playing in SL is because they couldn’t get a regular gig as an NRL player, particularly if they are under the age of 30.

Tyrone May is a quality player on a huge contract at KR. Читать дальше...

If my memory serves me right, I think that the club benefits more financially from the sale of season tickets compared to match day tickets as they do not pay a premium to the RFL.
