I hope not. We lost way too much on the edge when Walmsley was moved to full back. Walmsley would be the last player I’d use as full back cover in the backs.

Wood is big for his age and looks great on the highlights. But then again, Luis Johnson looked like a world beater at U19 level.

If there's anyone who knows a good prop when he sees one though, surely it's Burgess

Miller won’t get faster with match practice - it’s as Clueso said he has acceleration but not outright top speed I think. He does have skill but my main interest is in his D.

Can’t wait to see a full first team play together.

I'll wait until 6 games into the season to look st how the new guys are doing.
Will take time to get match fit and with a pretty much new spine it's going to need time to gel.

RS has to cut out the nonsense though, it's not worked right all last season and it won't.

I think Moore was poorly last minute, yes the spell when we were encamped on their line with multiple sets unfortunately coincided with inman , obrien and Keyes off the pitch meaning we looked devoid of any real attacking threat, I really have to get used to these games having no real value in terms of winning and losing but it’s in my nature I guess especially when playing Bradford . I know there’s been a bit of 50/50 with the widdop signing but whilst jouffret is... Читать дальше...

Disappointing that the club appears to be complacent when it comes to digital interaction.

Possibly - North Stand seats might be difficult to shift. Over 20k will be fine.

Does anyone know who receives the revenue from ticket sales?

Nicholson?

I’ve yet to see him play 13, so may be wrong. I just suspect that Burgess will see the value in Crowther. He’s been open about Jason Clark during his time at Souths how much he contributed to a huge pack by his ‘dirty work’, and Crowther certainly has that about him.

Nicholson may be able to replicate that and take the 13 shirt, but without that industrial element, and without having size and strength to be a third prop, I’m not sure he fits into the first choice pack right now... Читать дальше...

Leigh Leopards • Contracts update 2024

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Does anybody have an updated list of contracts for 2024 onwards?

The club have been really poor at announcing any of the extensions, quite a few contracts ended in 2023 but there has been no news on them, obviously I can see the players are still with the club in the photos.

Asiata was rumoured to have extended? What about Amone? Smith, Nakabuwai, Chamberlain, Hanly, Nisbett and a few others must have deals as they are still training but yet no news?

I don’t understand the clubs... Читать дальше...

Think it's more a RLFANS issue than a Wigan one. Fans creating splinter forums solely for their own team. Say anything negative on a Saints forum as a visitor and you are baned, Cas have their own, Salford, Huddersfield and you can't even read the Hull KR one without being a member. It was much more fun when opposing fans posted on other boards but we live in a precious society now, you are not allowed to have banter anymore because everybody is offended by everything.
