There's also football. As much as some wish to deny it, quite a few folk that watch RL also watch football. Leeds Utd are at home on Sat 13th, and I would imagine a lot of the footy-loving folk in Castleford will probably follow Leeds.

Sunday afternoon is, IMHO, the ideal time. Perhaps the tickets are still a bit pricey though for what is, in effect, a "bonus" game.

Is this perhaps the possible situation
1. Smith is the last coach Pearson will appoint
2. Playing budget rumoured to be at CAP meaning the current squad are the only players willing to sign
3. Pearson taking a big wage out of the club from ticket and merchandise sales as his only source of income
4. Smith on huge wage and impossible to pay him off.
5. The lack of interest from Pearson to attract investors means he has something to hide?

Signed for Wigan for a further 5 years. Watson thought a 34 year old Cudjoe(at the time) was preferable to him in the centre's for the CC final, he left, and has never looked back. Admittedly he was never quite clear from injury here, but nonetheless we should have thrown all at him to retain him, Watson thought otherwise and i distinctly remember him disrespecting Wardle suggesting he was not in 'Toby King's' international class. How wrong can you be?

Moss has a chance this season if he’s recovered from that nasty injury and Gaskell remains injury prone. He was a standout in the Saints system including their reserves last year. Just Saints must have decided he wasn’t quite at the level of Lomax & Dodds and released him.
