We did it last year as smith aludes to in his article

I do agree that the 8 year but can probably be ignored. I doubt he’s signed for that length of time without any options to break the deal at certain points but it’s a good news story for Salford and the league. They’re doing a good job at Salford of picking out those players who are supremely talented but need a fresh start. One of my gripes in the last season or two is the line that gets thrown around pretty often that they do it on a shoe string. I can’t buy that with the players they have. Читать дальше...

Davies has always played on the right wing both at Wigan and Catalan, Yaha plays on the left wing.

For me, with Yaha injured, this would mean Johnston playing on the left for them, at least in the short term.
I read that they had been trying him at FB in training but, cant see thet being anything more than cover ?

Leeds Rhinos • Captain for 2023

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

There isn't going to be one

RS has said there will not be an official captain it will basically be on a game by game basis!

I love that our coach is thinking outside the box and bringing new ideas to the game, Im not sure they will all work but it sure beats being boring!

Ok so that £50 charity bet that I offered you last season about Salford not going down.... it's back on the table again. You wisely turned it down once as you were made to look rather foolish.... how confident are you this year LeBron?

After seeing wakefield get absolutely smashed by Hull FC.......not very confident!

Doncaster RLFC • A step up

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

After watching last nights game between Keighley and Featherstone it only goes to show the huge step up in class from League 1 to the Championship.

Keighley have invested heavily in Luke Gale , Dane Chisholm and Ben Crookes hoping to make a push for the play offs, however last night they were shown the reality and quality of the lower leagues.
Fev continually targeting Gale's edge in attack highlighting his weak defence which will be a spot for all teams though-out the season.

I reckon everyone on here will pick the same 1-7 and 11 12 13 for HKR, only question is who starts at prop and how many are on the bench ?
I'd go for 3 plus a utility but I could understand 4 weather dependant.

Watched the game on FC Live last night.

Thought Clifford was very good. Had lots of variety. Even though he didn't get a try contribution, Hoy was involved in lots of build up play. He looks bigger than I thought he would.

Dwyer was busy. Still think his distribution could be better if I'm being picky.

Glad to see Taylor pack some punch again. I was critical of him last season, but hopefully he's back to somewhere near his best. Satae was a monster too. Читать дальше...

Halifax Panthers • Round 2. Featherstone v Halifax

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Having watched the Keighley v Fev game we are going to have to step it up quite a few gears to beat Fev on Sunday. They looked very good across the field. They have some big units and their half back Riley Dean (who is a Halifax lad) is over 6ft.
It may help us that Fev played last night and have a shorter turnaround. Although I don’t like saying I think this is a Feb win. I hope I’m wrong. Fev 26 Fax 6

They have full match replays home and away of all super league games on the Monday / Tuesday after that weekends games.

Whilst I’m sure the off season content could have been better you had access to lots of ‘classic’ games to watch in that time also.

It can be improved, but it’s less than £6 per month if you pay up front, that gives you access to all home and away SL full match replays as well as pre and post match interviews. For that alone it’s well worth £70 for me. Читать дальше...

Hull FC • Cas home

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I can't see Houghton not being in the 17, Smith will play him, Lover offers his versatility of the bench can cover a lot of positions, there is going to be a lot of upset blokes missing out for the first game, which makes a change.
Hoy
MacIntosh
Carlos
Sutcliffe
Swift
Macca
Clifford
Taylor
Houghton
Sao
Dre or Griffin
Lane
Fash
Subs
Satae
Brown
Dwyer
Evans or Lover and the one not picked 18th man
So we are going to have Griffin, Scott, Shaul, Cator and Mitch. Читать дальше...

Can't seem to string more than a few games together. Think he did his hamstring at Leeds last season before joining us.

Comes across as a really good, likable kid. Hope he plays most of the season at Bradford, but it doesn't look good.
