Everything they are doing is half hearted and laboured. I reserve the right to comment on Wire until iv'e seen them play against a moving opposition. I still don't think they will be there when the pots are being handed out regardless of how many they rack up tonight.

Aye, it’s safe to say trophies won’t be won tonight. If they can remain this hungry their pack will see them take huge strides forward but we’ll see. Tough to confirm much as you say, given how poor Leeds have been. Читать дальше...

London Broncos • Halifax v London Broncos

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

2 games in and it looks like Toulouse and Featherstone will be in the mix for promotion whilst there's a group of about 8 sides who look like they can beat each other on the day, including dare I say, us!

If we're serious about making strides towards SL on the field, then games like this one need to be closer than last years nilling at the Shay. IIRC, fax were only beaten 3 times at home last season and will be confident of winning, but can we upset them?

Anyone going up?

Likewise.
With everything going on in his life surely his head can't be in the right place to play rugby. My own opinion is he will miss the first 2 or 3 weeks. It would be a huge risk to throw him out there.

Me neither and may well just be Radford trying to play a bit of mind games though a bit of bad taste if so (pardon the pun).

As you you Hasbag it would be quite a risk to put a player... Читать дальше...

I do agree though, can’t have idiots at the top. Need a ruthless and uncompromising media machine.

The club social media posted the obligatory Sydney Airport departures photo of him, so I at least assume he's in the country! Maybe carrying a post World Cup injury and/or his fitness level isn't where it needs to be? I think he is in the footage from training the club posted the other day, but who knows?

I think he played in the capital challenge match. If it was him he made one or two dashes that looked sprightly but unclear whether he played long minutes or came off with a knock. Читать дальше...

Tackling with Lyne has never been an issue but I’ve always had reservations on his defensive positioning/sliding across. More so since he’s put on some muscle and lost that athleticism from his early years.

Lyne is still a good player but his main strength these days is... Читать дальше...

Too much tinkering would be my biggest criticism.

At the start we had mergers proposed then the game chickened out due to a backlash and a first past the post league table with a focus on Paris, Sheffield and London.

Quite quickly Paris and Sheffield fell by the way side and we switched to a playoffs and Grand Final format. I suposse the 00s were relatively stable then we switched the Franchising. The game then got bored of that and went back to promotion... Читать дальше...

yes things are looking good all round. anyone know what the large ditch with a yellow digger inside it, is for? i guess its for large drain pipes. There is obviously still a large amount of work to be done, and only another six months to builders handing the whole thing over to the club.
