Everything they are doing is half hearted and laboured. I reserve the right to comment on Wire until iv'e seen them play against a moving opposition. I still don't think they will be there when the pots are being handed out regardless of how many they rack up tonight.
Give him the keys to Warrington.
And everyone write a handwritten apology.

2 games in and it looks like Toulouse and Featherstone will be in the mix for promotion whilst there's a group of about 8 sides who look like they can beat each other on the day, including dare I say, us!
If we're serious about making strides towards SL on the field, then games like this one need to be closer than last years nilling at the Shay. IIRC, fax were only beaten 3 times at home last season and will be confident of winning, but can we upset them?
Anyone going up?

I do agree though, can’t have idiots at the top. Need a ruthless and uncompromising media machine.

The club social media posted the obligatory Sydney Airport departures photo of him, so I at least assume he's in the country! Maybe carrying a post World Cup injury and/or his fitness level isn't where it needs to be? I think he is in the footage from training the club posted the other day, but who knows?

Too much tinkering would be my biggest criticism.
At the start we had mergers proposed then the game chickened out due to a backlash and a first past the post league table with a focus on Paris, Sheffield and London.
Quite quickly Paris and Sheffield fell by the way side and we switched to a playoffs and Grand Final format. I suposse the 00s were relatively stable then we switched the Franchising. The game then got bored of that and went back to promotion... Читать дальше...

Eccles face and body language in the few seconds before the interview on the Haven game (LB Twitter feed) very reminiscent of mine during, and at the end of, the Widnes, Haven and Newcastle games last year.
