So the academy lads had there first outing today going down narrowly 22 16.having fought back from 16 0 and 22 12 with not long to go lads so easily could of got a levelling score. Around 22 players used though a good run out and they got better as the game went along so some good signs

But cheaper tickets could have been bought. I'm not sure what people don't understand about that.

The fanzone last night was the busiest I've seen it since it's inception. Anything they decide to do later in the season (Good Friday especially) will have to be conducted outdoors to allow a further increase in supporters.

Additional beer stalls will be priority on these days along with food and merchandise stands (the club shop had an extremely long queue all the way into the car park last night).

That being said, it's great to see lots of £££ being spent... Читать дальше...

Would we still be interested? There were plenty of concerns about Ratchford pre season at centre, but seems to have started well.

Gildart was a good centre pre NRL and crucially wouldn’t count on the overseas quota. We have ‘a bit’ of cap space left, but sure we could make some more by moving someone out on loan if needed. Should we be looking?

Great win and performance last night , the team showed some real metal and spirit. Spoiled a little by some fans abusing Chris Hill which was just not right. He gave his all for our club and did not deserve that.

Had to turn the commentary down when watching the recording. Wilkins's man crush on Tex Hoy was the listening equivalent of having an oversexed poodle constantly trying to hump your leg.

See what you have started Giddyup LOL.
13k watched Stains,60K watched Wigan,Stains will never be as big or successful as Wigan,Stains fans just cannot accept that which is a shame as they would sleep better at night and Wigan wouldnt hold so much head space inside the poor souls.

What’s Wane going to do with King?

Works in an office a couple of days a week I think. Maybe he can teach him how to knock a spreadsheet out.

How have Leigh got room under their salary cap for Shorrocks?
We must be paying a part of his salary.
Also, will he be able to play for Leigh against us? Never, ever understood that!

Not gonna happen this year. Don’t worry. Just hyperbole from people who don’t understand the game or process of elite sport….

Hull FC • Leeds Away Rnd 2

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Once again a game of two halfs, I thought we were the best team first half and should have been further in the lead, not sure Smiths try should have stood either.

But we dug in and got back in the game and defended well the last 10 minutes.

I do it as often as I can and it's normally around a 2 - 2.5 hour (depending on traffic), trip down from the outskirts of Newcastle.

I'm as disappointed in Sezer as I've been with any other Leeds signing. Used to enjoy watching hum play for Canberra. Didn't necessarily do the spectacular stuff but controlled a top NRL team. His first season at Hudds he looked good, but he's completely fallen off. I thought coming to Leeds would invigorate him, then working with Smith. But he just looks like a player who has lost 'it'. Austin gives it everything and maybe with a 7 who controls the team, he'd be able make more impact

Tony out brigade coming already. A couple of losses and the meltdown will begin. Running a small bench is one of Tony’s favourite things to do, so I’d get used to his baffling decisions. One of the worst Leeds performances I’ ve seen, just how they started last year, and they nearly had you. lol. Willie Peters’ barmy army.

"Willie Peters" sounds like a punchline.

Would you like us to have a whip-round for you, is that what you're here for?

Warrington Wolves • Re: Tonight’s game v Giants

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Wire were impressive tonight in a totally different way to last week.

The first half defensive display was truly immense.
OK so we contributed a little with pens/knock ons in that period of the game, but to come off at HT 8-0 after defending 5 or 6 sets on our own line - well I've not seen that for a long time.

We also slipped up and switched off a little towards the end allowing them in for 2 quick tries, and the scoreline on the whole was fair imo.
If it had been 26-6 that would have flattered us. Читать дальше...

Forgot to say that Martins defence was a real weak link. Looks unfit to me too. Seems to escape criticism, but really needs to improve imho….

Can't disagree with most of that. I was hoping for a better showing from King, after last week's poor effort, and, to be fair, he was much improved. As were the whole team. But yes, Wakey were poor. How many times did we pass our way through their defence without them laying a glove to the try-scorer? That's just not good enough at SL level. But Jeez, it was cold! Perhaps it's just me getting old, but I stopped off in my local for a quick pint on the way home, got back and fired up the woodburner... Читать дальше...
