Isn’t he. You don’t last that long in the NRL unless you are one hell of a physical specimen.
Because nearly all NRL forwards are big you tend not to notice. However, and no offence here, when you put them next to Jordy Crowther then you do!
People become the loss of Batch for example but put next to Proctor, not really in the same ballpark. I actually think Batch will go on to be a really good SL player, but he can never be a SR like Proctor.

I believe that the coaching staff are also thrilled about Harvie Hill. He has been killing it in training.

Not sure what you are referring to, but MC interview he said there would be Food/Drinks outlets at either side of the North Stand. I’m not sure how that works for the elite on the upper tier,. Perhaps they are allowed out to mingle with the unwashed while queuing for some snap.

Difficult for me to grasp where this squad stands, some definite quality in there but deffo missing serious grunt, we only have one “big” prop and from what I saw last season he has a lot to prove
Also seems to be a small squad in terms of numbers, expected more to have been added by now, but it worked for us last season so let’s see how it pans out

I think the days of us getting decent talent out of the NRL are coming to an end with their cap increase.

I wouldn't be in a rush to credit any of them. Any decent investigative journalist would have a field day with the goings-on at the RFL in recent years but bar a few critical tweets there has been nothing of any substance, to my knowledge anyway.

Suspect Leeds will fall short of a GF this year. I think we over achieved last season but a lot will depend on injury and if we can keep Newman on the field . Top 4 would be good progress from a consistency standpoint. Could poss win cup with a kind draw.
Wigan could win it imo. Im unsure on Saints. There are a lot on unknowns for them. Would love Cas to go down
as a Wigan fan ones who stand out for me
Drummond,Tamati as they were hard as nails, Boyd and Nikau, cos they were hard and dished it out
I really like Mike Gregory, Bob Jackson too as they could both handle themselves but also well respected by opposition.
i was interested to see Morley only make number 17 on one list . You must have had some absolute animals play for you on that front then
as a general rule i respect any players who steps out onto the pitch irrelevant... Читать дальше...

Luke Brooks would probably cost the most on that list but he's really never fulfilled the promise he had as a kid. Doueihi looks like a good rugby player but hasn't really done much as a halfback. Cogger has gone to be a reserve at the Panthers so I'm not sure why we'd be interested. Flanagan has a lot of question marks, with some rating him highly and others seeing him as hugely overrated. I also saw an interview with his... Читать дальше...

I honestly feel like looking beyond the major trophies. We’ve limped through a season but won a trophy so many times. Playing well consistently, and entertaining us fans is more important to me now. I’d honestly rather have a major pop at LLS (rather than limp into playoffs and make GF. ). Even if we didn’t make GF, that would at least mean we’ve watched some high quality RL for most of the year …….

Not trying to point score as I agree with you this is not a thread to slate other clubs. However if I remember correctly, Saints had an early bird offer (pre 1st Dec) which may not be on the website now and was less than the £301 you quote.
EDIT- Just been on the website and the December information is still on so I may be wrong. I'm confusing myself now

Absolutely ridiculous to suggest that Gannon gets in ahead of Martin.
He's been our best player for the last 2-3 years and is the best goal kicker in the league.

Has anyone else on here had a problem with a mostly blank page, with just the post topic on the extreme right hand.
It’s not just the Trinity forum, but every other clubs page also.

Reading the recent comments by Peet regarding Bateman and his departure he seems to be playing his cards very close to his chest.
He says we obviously now have room to manoeuvre but won’t be rushing in to anything and the lads we currently have will get first crack at replacing him.
It’s the standard lip service but I get the feeling those hoping for an imminent signing are likely to be disappointed, I think it is more likely we will see a mid season move with the foundations for that move currently being put into place. Читать дальше...

Reading some of the comments on other rugby league pages, something else were getting slated for. With Ossett United and Wakefield AFC, having aspirations to be in the football league, how hard it is these days to get plsns for a new stadium, or a revamp approved, plus the current economic climate, to me it makes perfect sense. Also in this day and age, how many stadiums are multi functional
