Fusitua wouldn't be the first or last overseas player to come over have a torrid first year then a cracking second/third year, look at someone like Jai Field.

Its not always overseas players either didn't Keith Senior have a really ordinary first year at Leeds, it happens.

All true though form doesn't seem to be a problem. He's been pretty good when he's been able to actually get on the field

I remember it well.
Corrupt didn't even cover that day. There was no way we were winning that match.
Despite that ******'* best efforts to get Hull to the final, they eventually lost.

Lindop wasn't far behind

My twopenneth on who should partner Clifford in place of Trueman until he's fit, I'd leave Hoy at FB as primarily that's his position and being new to the team, competition and country it would be better for him to focus/concentrate on the fullback role. McNamara whilst he is maybe not the most dynamic of players I think he would be the best fit and in fairness to him before his injury last season he was the better than either Gale or Reynolds and linked up play well with Jake. Lets not forget this lad has only just turned 19, the club's previous pathways were to send youngsters out on loan to Championship clubs to progress their development (remember Charnley going to Hull KR for instance), wouldn't be such a bad bet. See where the lad is in 12 months.

That Nsemba is a year younger than most of the Academy lads has been forgotten by some. Its a big ask to match that physicallity gap but he has done it so far in his career.

You're right but it'd be a real downer if we never saw him at his best. There does look to be a terrific player in there.

Yeh I agree.
When he's fit and on the pitch, he's a real asset.
We just need him to string a run of games together.

It's great that Shaul has impressed with his attitude in training, buy like others if he doesn't improve his game on the last few years then he shouldn't make the 17.

If Hoy isn't to be moved and can see the reasons why, it could be Lovodua at 6.

I'd avoid that temptation, Lovodua, is not a half for me, anyway. Clifford is more six than seven, whenever I have watched NRL, which was every weekend at one time before SKY got too expensive. play Ben McNamara at scrum half... Читать дальше...

Warrington Wolves • Leadership group 2023

I think sometimes Matautia was trying to make up for the lack of drive in the forwards. With our bigger pack, I'm hoping he'll rehone his centre skills and provide his winger with a well timed pass into open space.

Mata'utia is a good solid centre, who can break a line and is strong defensively. I've got no problems with him, he put more effort in last year than most of the squad. The whole team played really badly last year and can't be judged on a season where everyone was bad.

I wonder if complete “dislike” of referees is an age thing rather than to do with relative incompetence. As a youngster my views of Lindop and Thompson were not fit for polite company. I can’t get that worked up about the modern lot.
