Wakefield Trinity • Stadium and other issues

Still feel like we are cutting a lot of space out of the back of the north stand, I know this has been explained before but still feels like a lot of wasted space

Doncaster RLFC • Re: Restaurant Access

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Regarding the upcoming season....
Logically, the players we kept from last season will be slightly better for playing together and hopefully, based on the second half of last season, will be very competitive.
But let's look at the side subjectively now....with apologies to other players who are very good, we have only 3 stand out players..Tali, Boas and Johnston. The rest are good players.
Our recruitment has been uninspired and lazy and hindbound by lack of money.
Those players coming... Читать дальше...

Huddersfield Giants • Flair Enough

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

So with Odsal cancelled on Sunday, we're off to the 'Flair' stadium. I Would have liked to have had a look around Odsal for old time's sake, but all in all I think Dewsbury is the better venue this time of year. Plenty of parking round the industrial estate and a nice, side on, covered standing terrace.
Old style - - let the season begin!

Hull FC • Pre season.

I'd like to us to win every game but it won't happen.

If we lose I want to see us go down swinging not succumb to another 60 point defeat.

Leigh Leopards • Scouting for Girls

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Press speculation that the band Scouting for Girls will be performing at our opening game vs Salford, based on hints dropped so far. Would be quite a big thing if true, and they're a decent band IMVHO.

Personally, I'm buzzing to get this new season underway with or without the extra entertainment, but Derek is making a big statement of intent,

And post your move to the HJ, we had a shocking record for a few years against you. Dont know why,

We moved to the HJ in 2004, so those first few years were the Betts-Millward-Noble era, which was probably the low point for Wigan since the early 80s.

Bradford Bulls • Odsal redevelopment - another one bites the dust

Its time to admit Odsal needs filling in and we move somewhere else its going to be the death of the club.

Think most people agree on that. Where to go is the issue:

1. Dewsbury - too far, too small and not in Bradford.
2. Valley Parade - Can't afford what BCFC want in rent.
3. BPA - Too small, no parking, no money available for expansion.

£18 for me then.

Hudders squad announced. Fairly young looking with a sprinkling of 1st teamers. Notice George Roby in their squad - will be interested to see how he goes given he's meant to be on loan to us.

Warrington Wolves • Jon Clarke released from RU set up

Jon Clarke was pretty high profile for England. He was always on & off the pitch and seemed to have a lot to say to the players.

Carlos is a good player, seems very professional and keep himself in great condition. If the role of captain is to set the standard for the other players then he is an excellent choice.

The level of opposition to this is huge and I don’t see it being a long term solution to the issue and rules will soon revert back, however a lot of damage has been done in the community Union game already and it is a cracking opportunity for League clubs to capitalise particularly those in Union heartlands.

He was anti-lockdown and in favour of spreading the virus while a family member of mine lay dying in hospital. He can say what he wants. And we can call him a nobhead.

"Need to scrap this tier s*** and get us back to normal, we can decide for ourselves what risks we wanna take"

Nobhead.

Castleford Tigers • Castleford Tigers - Club Guide

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Hello everyone.

I see the Tigers sections is a little low on replies but I'll post anyway in the hopes of something.

I'm making a video on each Super League team for the upcoming season and I'm starting with the Tigers...

Are there any fans who can educate me a little about last season. I'd like to know how you felt about your season, the ups and down, what were the pressing issues, what you liked, how you feel about changes to the club/squad and expectations for the upcoming season. Читать дальше...

Wigan Warriors • Rugby Union's change in tackle height - Rugby League's gain?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

It will be illegal to tackle above the waist in the Rugby Union community game from July 1st 2023, the implications to player participation from all age groups are obvious, the RFL should be doing everything they can to attract Rugby Union players disenfranchised by this decision.

Doncaster RLFC • Dons v Newcastle Sunday 22nd January 2023 3pm

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

This should prove to be a decent run out for the lads.

Mitch Clark is presently with Newcastle. They swapped from full-time to part-time at the end of last season so maybe they won't quite be fully up to speed yet.

I wonder if Brett Feres will play? He was at the match last Sunday with his girlfriend (wife?) and daughter.

I'd like to see Ben Howe get a game.

Leigh Leopards • Re: Where do you expect Leigh to finish in the SL table?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Really hope you stay up, I think you have a bottom 2 squad along with Wakefield.

HKR I believe will be fine.

It’s a shame Ferguson couldn’t keep out of trouble as he would have been an asset in SL.

Think you need to lower your expectation with Hardaker too.

He is excellent defensively and a good ball carrier, but quite slow and has a beyond terrible passing game (unlike what the modern fullbacks need).

Lam realised he needs to play centre during his spell at Wigan, not sure where he’ll be lined up for you. Читать дальше...
