Wonder if there’s time scale contract on the build because they seem to be putting in the hours.

Leeds Rhinos • Injures/ Suspension 2023

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Made a new topic as we don't have injuries thread for 2023.

And it's not good news on the injury front.

I'm told by my source Harry Newman has re-injured his hamstring sprinting in training this week. Not sure if it's the same hamstring he was recovering from or it's his other one but either way it isn't good. Just hope it's not servere as I fear it could be a while before we see him back on the pitch.

Also not sure when this was done but Max Simpson has a knee injury fears it could be ACL so not good for him at all. Читать дальше...

Wakefield Trinity • Good result for Fev

Although we’ve left a few out it’s a stronger team than we usually put out against them. Hopefully a good run out and no injuries.

The Fev squad has been named, there look to be a few that have been rested prior to the season-opener at Keighley next weekend with Johnno Ford, Connor Jones and Koppy all being left out. Joey Leilua is back in Australia on compassionate leave following the death of his mother whilst John Davies, Mark Kheirallah and Tyla Hepi are out injured. Still a very solid Fev squad though albeit with two very young halves, should be an interesting game.

January 6th

It still staggers me what Trumps supporters did on the 6th January 2020 when they tried to overturn American democracy by storming the Capitol building. This is a collection of first hand accounts from those within and charged with defending the senators and congresspeople against the racing mob. Some very powerful footage and testimony but I was left wishing that they had gone into more detail about the eventual tracking, capture, charging and imprisoning of the insurgents. But that is perhaps a different documentary. Читать дальше...

Warrington Wolves • Re: Friendlies.

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

On the subject of friendlies I suspect we're going to see pretty much all the first choice team play next weekend given there are no other (first team) friendlies lined up. Interesting (and possibly risky?) strategy to go into the season with only an 80 minute warm up in the tank and a new half back combination to bed in. He's not been mentioned much in preseason and the focus has been on our new forwards but I'm interested to see how Mikaele goes with a full preseason behind him. Looking forward to the game next weekend. Читать дальше...

greenwood was poor but that's all I agree with really. First 20 they bombed in long balls and picked up scrappy second balls. we rode out the storm and it could have been 7 or 8. officials were awful. never really looked like losing that one. bamford looked good, rutter was rusty but did well. wober should have confined cooper to the bench from now on.

Played about 50 SL games out of 140, played for HKR when they were in championship and got promoted, played stints with Leigh, York and Batley so generally around top end of champ, has been picked up in SL a couple of times and whilst it hasn’t really worked out he looks upper end of champ type player to me so looks a massive upgrade on DDW

The Juve manager has confirmed a deal for McKennie has been agreed. So it's almost done.
Leicester have bid £20m for Harrison. If Gordon is worth £45m the Harrison is worth at least £30m

Thinking about that the only trophy KR have been more successful at winning than Hull is the old Yorkshire Cup.
Rovers won it 7 times to 5 and in 3 finals when the 2 clubs were involved KR had the edge 2-1.

Having said that Hull did win it 3 times in a row with the last game a corker against KR played at Boothferry... Читать дальше...
