I think pricing will be a factor as discounts are likely to be required to attract much needed new fans.

It.might be an idea to advertise.to anyone other than the choir.
The club have done the "bring a mate" to death and need to look at other ways to get locals through the doors. I've seen nothing or heard nothing whilst scouring local social media and AFC fan sites. The clock is ticking and I genuinely hope they don't flush thousands down the drain of Metro and the standard again. Читать дальше...

Yep your right, I got confused. I just checked and they were back to back home games for the end of the season. It was 17 years ago, damn I am getting old.

Menzies better no doubt though

If we signed him it would be almost a decade since he played SOO.

We need to get Holroyd out there. Tindall will, I imagine, cover a few times along with such as McDonnell who can cover centre or 2nd row. Newman badly needs a good run of games and will feature providing he's fit. If Johnson's a keeper then he needs more game time than just covering the occasional short term injury or suspension.

Tindall is dreadful. Id rather have Joe Vickery back.

Signing one of the best players last season would be "madness"

As gareth ellis and steve menzies showed age is irrelevant if you look after yourself

And judging the speed mcqueen is for such a big guy he looks after himself aswell

I missed Brown he would get a deal

He played well I 2022, but to sign him for 2024 would be crazy, injuries will take the toll, look at Manu and Mini. Can't compare Mcqueen with Ellis and Minnie's... Читать дальше...

Sounds like Swansea are wanting to take him on loan and that would be a good move for all concerned especially if Rutter is on his way.
Pity they don`t want Llorente as well.

I have said that maybe as a one off there should have been a "Covid" amnesty of some sort i.e. anyone having one say up to 5 years ago could get a Renewal price ST now?

But it's difficult to reduce Full price ST's too much - bearing in mind if people do want a New ST then can get one at the early bird price - as the whole reason for the incentive/cheaper price is to get people to pay earlier/up front etc.
Also game day price - I do agree that maybe 30 is a... Читать дальше...

True. I am mean look at the amount of regular posters that came on here 10, 15, 20 years ago and you have to ask the question why they do not anymore. Gus in my view was the beginning of the end.

Bradford Bulls • Dewsbury (A) - Pre-Season

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Our first pre-season friendly of 2023 is upon us as we travel to our former landlords Dewsbury Rams this Sunday for a 2pm kick off. It will be good to see some of the new recruits get their first hit out in the red, amber and black shirt. Particularly looking forward to seeing how Holmes, Lawrence and Thompson get on.

How many times have we heard this before, usually when rival fans can see Leeds are on the cusp/real contenders again.

I'm sure that all of you like me are looking forward to the new season so I thought I would try and get some predictions for next year.

To avoid this becoming a Wigan/Saints thread on your own board I will keep it to Wigan only.

So who do you feel will be:-

Your player of the season
Breakthrough player (so either a relative unknown so far or someone not expected to do so well)
Fans scapegoat

bloody head the ball was the response , absolute animal on the pitch and hard as nails.

Unfortunately i dont think my dad played with him (certainly didnt mention it), as my dad was signed on for your A-team / Colts but chose the pit instead of RL at the time. Alex Murphy was looking to sign my dad for you in the early 70s

He just doesn't look like a centre forward. He'll have a great career, but it's clear he should be playing as an inside forward on the right, so he can isolate defenders and cut inside. He'll go on loan to a championship team once this Rutter deal gets confirmed

Does anyone believe that the pricing of a ticket, regardless of it being £17.50, £20.00 or £45 is going to be an impactor in terms of gates this year?
It does seem odd that £20 has become £17.50 though. Another sign of the left and right hand being at odds with each other.

I've just noted that there's no upgrade to the new bar or gold lounge options available to casual visitors, so any "new" or curious fans will be simply let in and won't know of the options available. I went through the... Читать дальше...
