Gutting that. I was really hoping for a predominantly red shirt. If the away shirt was red with white and blue stripes that would be a shirt!

Bradford Bulls • Re: Transfer talk

What about Brad Ho?

He's not a young kid anymore, he's 22.

He did a season-long loan with Keighley, who walked away with League and made 18 appearances in a team many people here are tipping to be better than us this season.

It's time for him to step up...

But it's difficult to reduce Full price ST's too much - bearing in mind if people do want a New ST then can get one at the early bird price - as the whole reason for the incentive/cheaper price is to get people to pay earlier/up front etc.

He would need X ray eyes to see through the wooden screens, or some very tall Stilts to see over the fence. I was down at the Rollin shack last Monday, I had a look through the window at the East Stand, I wasn’t sure if it was fresh concrete that had been laid at the extreme south end of the stand, or previous laid concrete that was wet from the rain. Most of the rear section of roof had been covered... Читать дальше...

Bradford Bulls • Things I'd like to see this year on the field

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Some better finishes to sets have got to be a priority. We did nothing to challenge defences last year. That kick to Gill was as predictable as night following day. We must have been a dream to defend against. It wasn't helped by both halfbacks being well out of form and fitness and our forwards being out of condition. Hopefully the performances of last year are a thing of the past.

Defence of our line is a big area to improve upon. It's a real indicator of a side's attitude. We let... Читать дальше...

It was the inclusion of Sims that took my attention. Jesus Christ. To think we used to have Boyd and Tamati.

Have we really not had a better overseas prop ?

I can assure you Sims didn’t make the cut!

Halifax Panthers • Preseason Wakefield v Halifax

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

So the build up to the new season steps up this weekend when we play our first friendly at Wakefield. Looking back to our game with them at the same stage last preseason they were way too strong for us and with them having already played a game it will be a tough game again. The main thing for me is we come through the game without any injuries and with us having a settled spine in our side we should gel quicker this year then previous years and hopefully give them a good game.

It's an odd one because I've heard Marsch say several times that the problems lie because we're not aggressive enough, I suspect that means not closing down well enough and being a bit too nervy with the ball. The system played (though he has switched to 433 of late at times) means that the LB/RBs get caught out far too easily if they're either caught up field or not switched on... Читать дальше...
